Cards for your travel, or better yet stay at home

Ah, the happy destination, and you must find the perfect card to send to loved ones. You know, the old proverbial, "wish you were here."

Traveling by car? Tell them about all the great things you see along the way.

Maybe you're traveling by plane! With today's technology it's so easy to stay in touch.

Is it possible you're not actually traveling this holiday? Take the time to do something special for yourself.

Whatever you do - be safe and have fun!

  1. LOL with texting with the pilot. I had an aunt who always sent post cards whenever she traveled. She always signed it "Greetings from" wherever she was at. I think that is a lot better than "wish you were here."

  2. Hi Dixie. Thanks for making me smile. I think postcards are being superseded by Facetiming! Is it a Public Holiday in the US this weekend?; it is in the UK. I've been very busy recently but will get back into regular Blogging eventually. Hope you are well, best wishes, Bazza.

    1. Hi Bazza. We do love smiles. One sister-in-law is still faithful sending post cards... and every year I drool over the scene of sand and sea! Monday is Memorial Day in the US, when we celebrate those who have given their lives in war time scenario... 'bank holiday' as well. I wondered if you were off somewhere painting. I'm hoping you'll post another gallery of watercolours this summer! You are missed but not forgotten, my friend. Thank you for asking - I'm doing well today! Enjoying my peaceful yard. (smile)

  3. No traveling for me this weekend. Everyone here bugs out for the beach, so the last place I want to be is on the road with everyone else.

    1. Alex, such a wise decision, me too. It's been so cool and comfy here, who wants to travel? We're not too far from each other, I hope you're having blue skies and coolness st your place. Enjoy your day.

  5. I used to send cards many years ago, no more. I loved some of your cartoons. Especially the last one.

    1. Jo, I did too. Of course it helps to actually travel so I can send them, (smile).
I'm glad you liked some of the cartoons!

    1. Pat, when I first saw it, it looked so real! So now I wonder, what's on the other door?

  7. I shall be having fun over this long weekend by staring at the four walls. A lot cheaper than driving my car. Oh, that car door in the photo is real. Holy crap, eh!

Back to staring at the four walls, goodbye....

    1. I'm not for staring at the walls. It's too beautiful outside. I catch up here and then head back out. Sit outside for a bit; maybe you'll feel better.
