Spring in my yard is an amazing time - life as I love it - returns. So how did I miss the "Daylight Savings Time" notice? Aw, yes! I was busy taking notice of the yard. So when the time changed on the 13th, I wondered why my studio wall clock had slowed... exactly one hour? Or had my laptop and cell phone made mistakes, by advancing... exactly one hour?
Laugh, if you want. I spent a half day looking for a battery for the wall clock. I was not looking forward to purchasing batteries... boo... awful prices!! I had the best laugh at myself for such a silly oversight... I hope everyone adjusts well to "DST".

Tomorrow is my "battle of the bands" day. I'll be playing two different versions of the same song. Feel free to stop over and vote for which song version you like. dcrelief ~ Battle of the Bands participant
Closing out today with a thought for Spring Rain - I love that too. Here's one of my favorite composers and artist - Yanni...
Fortunately I did remember. Didn't want to be late to church on Sunday.
ReplyDeleteNice flowers. Our are starting to bloom as well. All two of them.
>>..."All two of them."
DeleteDo you want me to send bulbs and cuttings??
Our forsythias, daffodils and hyacinths and violets too are blooming as well. Next stop tulips in a month or so
ReplyDeleteI envy you. I have so few tulips. I love the red candy-striped ones!!
Deletelol well it only happens twice a year so you can use that as an excuse
ReplyDeleteI'm basically out of touch unless I read it on someone's blog.
DeleteBeautiful Japanese tulips!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I'm going to try rooting cuttings this year, for more trees!
DeleteHI Dixie...
ReplyDeleteHope things are better for you...
Those beautiful blooms should lift your spirits!
Enjoy your week...
Cheers!
Linda :o)
Thanks, Linda. I'm steadily better. A good attitude saves me now days!
DeleteBy the way, I 'm envious off your geraniums!!!
I love to bring them indoors for the winter, otherwise they would die!
DeleteGet better....
I know... I wish Geraniums were more cold weather hardy.
DeleteThanks, Linda.

ReplyDeleteIf Girl Wonder hadn't sent me a text reminding me to move my clocks forward an hour, I too would have forgotten all about it.
In fact, I didn't "FORGET" about it because I never even knew about it!
It's a good thing people look out for idiots like me.
See ya at BOTB tomorrow, my friend!

DeleteTomorrow's battle will load in at midnight, tonight. See you then!
Our clocks will be going forward soon....or backwards.....I think?
ReplyDeleteOkay - that sounds exactly like my attitude towards this whole time thing!
DeleteGood luck, Fran!
Oh yes, there have been a couple of years in the past when I forgot to spring forward or fall back, as the case may be. And don't we feel foolish when that happens!
ReplyDeleteYep! And to think I was sweating batteries.... ha ha ha.
DeleteI adjust to the change in time, but I don't like it. Nice to see spring where you are. We're expecting 10 inches of snow tomorrow. Now we'll have an extra hour in which to shovel. Oh, boy!
ReplyDeleteOH NO!!! I couldn't handle 10 inches of snow (frown),
DeleteWhen I was in college, I always missed it and showed up at the cafeteria to eat after it closed. All four years. Never failed.
ReplyDeleteAt least you were consistent, and, um, dependable (?)
