The yard is slowly awakening - the sun launches from the East.
The seventh hour shows some blue sky - white puffy clouds will arrive soon.
Trees are tall, with golden rays intertwined - dew glistens on the rose.
It is the breakfast hour for birds and other creatures - they are moving.
A studio window is my front row seat at the theater - I request a peaceful day.
Time to extinguish my candle - head my way - being mindful of others.
In my mind I hear, Yanni Hrisomallis ~
we do love window seats and views!
ReplyDeleteI do, Dezmond! Spring, Summer Winter, Fall - love them all.
DeleteWish I had time to sit and enjoy rather than heading for work.
ReplyDeleteBe careful what you wish for (smile). A car accident began the long road of health loss. I really miss working, co-workers, 'doing lunch,' office parties, and everything in-between (smile).
DeleteYes window seat theatres can be amazing, lovely words Dixie.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
Thank you, Yvonne. I often wonder what others have surrounding them within their writing environment.
DeleteJust looking out is a find way to be, instead of the 9-5 crap
ReplyDeleteI agree
DeleteAll's good for me :)
One of the fabulous things about my new home is the amount of windows and light shining into the house. I love also sitting on the patio to enjoy the morning coffee in a very peaceful back yard.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Linda Kay! My patio is not to big but I have a nice 300 degree view.
Delete....just the way to start the day.
ReplyDeleteHere, here!
DeleteWhat a great way to start the day! It's a good idea to request a peaceful day each morning.
ReplyDeleteHi Liz. I call it 'sacred time.' a candle, an affirmation, some music....
DeleteBeautiful pictures, poetry and music. I'd like to start my day this way.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Donna. Doing this keeps me centered.
DeleteNice to receive the request of a peaceful day too. I love to watch our park view (kind of our back yard) and see everything awaken.
ReplyDeleteI understand, Jo. This is part of my backyard, taken from the garden. I've put concrete benches or lawn chairs scattered around. Hard to decide which view I like the most.
DeleteThat's beautiful. It makes me excited for the sunny weather we have coming up here.
ReplyDeleteThat's right, Michael... you're opposite of my location. I'm headed into colder weather in about four weeks.
DeleteThanks for the compliment.
