Rain is forecast for another six days. Under the overcast sky, it comes and goes.
Meanwhile I trek to the store, taking an umbrella, which I then leave in the van!
So far the van has three umbrellas - two more are in the house.
It's possible I have one stashed back, that I received for Christmas - umm - last year
(I hope.)
I need a way, to remind myself ,to return the umbrellas to the house after my treks.
Help!
We're getting a lot of rain as well.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you need one of those super compact ones for your purse or something? Not that you want to stick it in there all wet.
Alex - that's brilliant!
DeleteHope the weather improves Dixie, here where I live it's been sunny all day.
ReplyDeleteTake care and hope all is well with you.
Yvonne.
Yvonne -usually we get these showers in August or November. I don't know if they're late or early (smile). Still everything is nice and green. This may affect the beauty of the Fall colors. Dry weather makes better leaf color.
DeleteThank you!
Like Yvonne, we've had a beautiful weekend (much better than some of the summer!) We do get a lot of rain though too so understand about the umbrellas!
ReplyDeleteSuzanne - stuff like this makes me nuts. I'm down to the big golf umbrellas and they won't fit through the van door. Then I have to close them and get wet. I'm crazy!!
Deleteyou should buy a pocket sized one :)
ReplyDeleteDezmond - I think I should buy several, and probably invest in stocks!!
DeleteI always keep one in the car and as we have an underground garage, I don't need to use it to get into my home.
ReplyDeleteJo, I have a nice carport but it was built at the basement level. That means climbing stairs to bring in groceries, EEK!
DeleteLucky you (smile).
All sunny here and not an umbrella in sight
ReplyDeleteGee thanks, Pat!!
DeleteDixie, we were under the threat of rain on Friday as we made our trip to Mount Airy, but luckily not much became of it until we were on our way home. What a relief! I can't remember what Saturday did and Sunday it was just cloudy all day. However, today we're getting lots of rain and it looks like our chances are favorable every day for the rest of the week. Fall changes are definitely being felt! Shucks, this weekend it might even be hot chocolate conditions. Yum!
ReplyDeleteCathy, I thought about you guys traveling - glad it held off. The sun just came out for the first time in 4-5 days. Looks and feels great.
DeleteHot chocolate? I know what you mean! (smile)
