Celebrate the Small Things

Today is World Lupus Day. Show your support by wearing purple.

I love this blog hop!

We are celebrating those small achievements we've had for our week! Sharing about health, wealth, writing, family, or school... you name it, and we'll celebrate with you!  We do this by hopping to each other's blogs, offering congratulations. And for those times you need encouragement, this is the best blog hop group ever!! We are empathy, en masse!

Consider joining us by adding you name at Lexa Cain's blog site.

Let's begin by thanking ~ our director:

Thanking our lovely co-hosts:

What am I celebrating?

1- Having just enough mulch to get flowerbed #3 done. It's big!!

2- Purple Iris that came up in three smaller beds.

3- Posting for my musical blog hop. I have too many projects on my plate!

  11. Hello from a fellow gardener. I used to have iris like that in my yard but lost them over the years. I LOVE iris, and since I'm getting back into gardening after being away from it for many years, your post reminded me that I need to buy some!

I miss having a garden. Thus, thanks for sharing those photos. Do flowerbeds have matching pillows?

    1. Since the bird plaque got broken today, accidentally, the wind beneath my wings has pooped out.

You can also use cardboard until you buy mulch later.

  22. Hi Dixie! Hugs. I know it's been a little bit. Still catching up. I didn't know May 15 was Lupus Day. I'll have to write that down somewhere. May is also Stroke Month.

Love the purple iris; purple happens to be my favorite color, if you hadn't noticed it on my other blog. :) Yay for beautiful flower beds! Have a great day. Miss ya. Eva

    1. Eva, forgive my late visit to your Celebration! Those beds have me really busy - so much has been ignored in the yard. My elderly Father didn't like yard work - once he passed away - I went to work on it full time. Before when I would come over to work on it, he'd rather visit, so the yard got further behind.
