My Mom's friends all had teen daughters; I was 'the kid,' at the time. My love of Motown started with those three girls. The photo is from my days at Zimbio, where I wrote articles for three magazines. No more politics for me.

Valentine's Day is not usually on my radar, but this year I'm doing some volunteer work involving children who will be. I'll be up and gone before you can say "Butterfinger!"
