Each Friday, we post what we're celebrating - those small achievements for our week!
Then we hop around other blogs, offering congratulations to other people. And if everyone visits at least a few other blogs, we'll all have some congratulations.
Thank you to our sponsor and co-hosts!!

1 - A gift of a huge jar of peanut butter... now I'm really making cookies. The house is warmer and I'm well fed!
3 - Finally finished going through all of the closets of clothes. (I inherited everything it seems). At least 10 bags go to the free clothing outlet. They give everything away - which I love! Please donate when you can, what you can.
I hope everyone has a fun celebration day. Thank you for hopping over here! And now ~ the linky vehicle we travel on... I'll be over to see you (smile).
Peanut butter cookies - yum! I really like mint and chocolate too. I think it started in childhood with that lovely green Chocolate Mint Chip ice cream. I've never tried mint and white choc, but I bet it's great! I always donate clothes. And shoes, too. I hate to see usable things go to waste. Have a wonderful weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteLexa - you are a champion in my book! Enjoy your weekend!
DeleteI love peanut butter cookies. And mint chocolate stuff. But white chocolate is like the Turkish Delight in Narnia - fake and evil… Sorry. Just can't go there.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, Kate - fake and evil? (Shudder). I loved Narnia! I used to hate white chocolate, until Zero candy bars. (smile)
DeleteHave a great weekend!
I'm a peanut butter fan too......... I nominated you for a Very Inspiring Blogger Award at my blog.
ReplyDeleteAw, Sharon - that brings tears to my eyes! Thank you so much.(smile)
DeleteI love white chocolate but not with mint :) You Americans have the strangest of tastes :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like I might be the only one, Dezzy! LOL.
DeleteI must come catch up the bollywood news after my bloghop!
Peanut Butter cookies are my favorite. And cleaning out closets and the basement is a hassle, but it feels good when i get rid of unwanted items. And yes donate is the answer!! Good Luck.
ReplyDeleteCathrina - you have my heart. Thinking of others is the best celebration!
DeleteThank you and enjoy the weekend. (smile)
Oh my goodness, I need to go make some peanut butter cookies, Dixie. Sounds wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI love them, Linda Kay. That jar will make 7 recipes = 14 dozen cookies!!!
DeleteI probably should go through my closet and get rid of some clothes. My size goes up and down with these dratted migraines. Right now I'm bigger than I'd like to be. One size down would be much better. Seems like every time I get rid of all my really small clothes I get really sick and lose tons of weight, forcing me to buy new again. Look... I just talked myself out of going through my closet in less than a minute. And there you go...
ReplyDeleteOh Robin - you are too funny! There are other things to donate - don't worry!
DeleteTake care of that brilliant mind - really - how else will I catch up on missed TV spoofs? Thank you! (smile)
Love peanut butter cookies! It's a good thing I'm not going grocery shopping today or I'd have to get some. It always makes me feel good when I can clean out things I don't need or can't use and donate them to others who can make use of them. Win - win for everyone.
ReplyDeleteYes it is, Lori. I like your thinking! Enjoy the weekend.
DeleteI haven't had peanut butter cookies in like forever! Now I want some! And sales are always great, especially for the pocketbook! And I have a whole garage to go through, but most of it's my husband's stuff so I dare not throw it away or donate because most of it is memory triggers for him.

Hi Jaime! Cookies warm the heart and the house for me!! Did you know that "Sales" is my middle name? No?
DeleteFortunately, the things I went through were from my Mom and Dad. Both having passed away - well I finally had to it. But I really empathize with your situation - this had no affect on me beyond missing them.
I'm grateful when one spouse so respects the other's feelings - like you do. I hope the weekend is peaceful and lovely for you both. (smile).
All good things to celebrate, Dixie. It's a good thing Hershey's aren't on sale here. it's so hard to stop eating them. We try to save chocolate for special occasions because it seems to set off alarms. D Hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deanie! "...seems to set off alarms."
DeleteI like that; I'm inclined to drool (smile)
Enjoy your weekend!
I love peanut butter too! And a bargain is always good to celebrate.
ReplyDeleteSuzanne - I could not pass it up this time!
DeleteI gave the store two weeks to sell out!
Oh dear. If I had access to Hershey's that cheap, you'd never see me again :P
ReplyDeleteMichael - hahaha. At that price I could have afforded to ship you some too.
DeleteI just found the Cookies and Cream Kisses, have you tried those, I think they are delicious.
ReplyDeleteThat's right, Jo, tell me there's another flavor!!! Oh no!
DeleteYumm, cookies and chocolate! Way to go with your closets!
ReplyDeleteThank you - I'm glad it's done!
DeleteDoesn't it always feel so good when you clean out the clutter? And giving it to charity is the cherry on top :) Enjoy your weekend Dixie!
ReplyDeleteIt really is, Katie! I'm happy for your progress!
DeleteEnjoy your weekend too(smile).
Oh candy on a great deal is always a reason to celebrate... and I also love Peanut Butter... love making peanut butter and choc chip cookies... yum
ReplyDeleteTonja - it's so easy and in the winter, works double duty! (smile).
DeleteMmm cookies! Bargains are always something to celebrate. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Laura! Missed you this time... hope to catch up next Friday, even though it sounds like you're one busy person! (smile) (I read your Wednesday's post - wow!)
DeleteThanks, and have a great weekend, yourself!
Yummy food and decluttering. Sounds divine to me!!
ReplyDeleteYes, Kelley - it's always a winner here too.
DeleteThat's an amazing sale! I wish my local store had a sale that good, because I'd have to take advantage of it!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, LG - I felt almost greedy, except they had an abundance the first day I discovered it. Unfortunately, this flavor only comes out Christmas time. But I'm stocked up for a while.(smile)
