Teddy is so disappointed. Yucky weather has us hanging out at home. It's cold and we're expecting rain. Oh no!
We need the rain so the airplanes will have to land without us watching this week.
Teddy thinks we should watch music videos. So here you are - from Teddy with love!
Airplanes in my dreams...
We live close to a small airport so see lots of planes going by. Thanks for the music. Here it's been snowing all day but not settling thank goodness.
ReplyDeleteHi Jo! You're so welcome for the music. I love watching the airplanes land but not in cold rainy times. Hot cocoa and cheese biscuits - sounds strange but the sweet - savory is my favorite. I do worry that the lower temps will brig ice - snow would be easier. I bet it's very lovely there today! Enjoy.
DeleteWhat is with you and the airplanes? Why do you love them so much? I've never flown in a plane in my whole life..... and never been to an airport
ReplyDeleteAs very small children it was one thing to do o a Friday night. My Mom would pack a picnic and watch planes. Sometimes we'd play hide and seek with other children. There were always lots of families there.
DeleteIt still happens today - every Friday is the busiest with lots of people. You remember the television sitcom,"Cheers"? The theme song: "You wanna go where everybody knows your name!"
One time I was 20 feet from the Goodyear blimp. My family had permission to go up in it, but the winds were so bad they canceled all guests trips. It was fabulous. I guess I'm still a kid on some levels.
Smart Teddy! But the cloud-dream aeroplane is the best bit :-)
ReplyDeleteI love Teddy... he's about worn out, like me. YES the cloud is my sign off photo for every Thursday wrap.
DeleteBy the way - I enjoy reading your writings. And the silver shoes are great!! Thank you for visiting me.
Sorry about the weather, Teddy.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
He's watching an old Led Zepplin concert on YouTube. Then he wants to watch "The Grinch"... third time this week. Teddy thanks you, so do I.
DeleteI am picturing that movie "Wayne's World" where Wayne and Garth are laying on their backs on top of the Mirthmobile, watching planes directly over them.
ReplyDeleteParty on Teddy.
Party on Dixie.
Watching planes *fly* directly over them.
Delete"Wayne's World" - there's an image! Thank you and Party on Workingdan!
DeleteNo problem... my unusual brain allows me to insert words whether I actually see them or not. I believe that talent is called insanity?
Deletei'll fly you to the moon and let you play among the stars.
ReplyDeleteBilly that song was 4 minutes, 37 seconds or it might have made the cut. Teddy just barely allowed me to include old Frank. And - no mention of the stars - he'll drag out his telescope. It takes up half of the den.
DeleteThanks for visiting us!
