Stripping away the rose colored glasses of denial concerning my reality. Getting in touch with truth. Reaching out to others in empathy concerning their reality and their walk to truth.

A reach ~
Oh would you carry me when I am old and gray?
Then will you bury me should I no longer play?
Let out a laugh of cheer to keep me in your heart before you dump me in the ground and sing the song of blessed lark ~
Hey Dixie, Ah yes a Studebaker Lark. Way back when, when I had long hair and long sideburns, I drove such a car. A thoughtful poem driven from the heart. Take care, my friend :)
Ah Gary, the good ol' days. My "Stoodue", blue on rust, sat in the woods for a year before I first laid eyes on it. Cranked the first time; sent a thousand spiders running. Straight from the heart, yep, yep, yep. Thanks Gary!
bazza, I suppose that's why I exist... to give meaning to someone about something! Or is that a coincidence? "...this lovely little verse...". Thanks bazza :))

Hi Dixie. We don't have the Studebaker marque in the UK but, thanks to Gary's comment above, this lovely little verse has meaning for me!
