My little red rose ~
Sweet scent for my nose.
You're already blooming ~
After that slight grooming.
This little rose bush is a true delight. A couple of snips and it performs beautifully. It will get slightly larger than a 'patio rose' bush... perfect for my flowerbed. This summer I intend to try rooting a few cuttings. The more the merrier and the cheerier, I say!
Do you like roses? If not, what do you find most appealing?
Bonus points:
That joke was quite awful:D
ReplyDeleteThanks, Fran... I aim to please!
DeleteSweet poem; I don't know about the collie[flower, though. :-) Good luck with rooting your cuttings; I didn't know you could with roses. My husband and I both love roses and have several bushes in our back yard. Truly wondrous flowers.
ReplyDeleteLook for a product called, "root on".
DeleteGreat post Dixie, hope you're feeling better,
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week-end.
Yvonne.
Thank you, Yvonne! You too.
DeleteHope the cuttings take.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, very bad pun!
Thank you, Alex.
DeletePuns are not always fun... i suppose.
Roses are heavenly!
ReplyDeleteThe more the merrier!
DeleteVery bad joke. All coming up roses for you
ReplyDeleteI guess I'll skip the puns from now on. Leave on the joke blog!!
DeleteI like roses because they always repay even the slightest amount of care. Nice to see you back (or is it me who's back?)

Oh Bazza, friend - we're so out of touch. I'll see you this week!
DeleteI like roses and the joke!
ReplyDeleteToo cool - you can be my newest hero!
DeleteCollie flower. LOL
ReplyDeleteI love my roses. I have one getting ready to bloom. I had to transplant them all this spring and worried they'd hate me for it. So far, they have been very forgiving. Let me know if you have any luck getting starts. I'd love to do that!
