N is for Nail Gun

I have lots of fun
Tinkering with my nail gun.
Do you have one you can shoot?
Have you ever shot your boot?

  1. We have about 3 nail guns here, or did at one time, probably only one now (lots of staplers t hough). No, never shot myself with a nail gun.

    1. I like staplers too and they're easy on the hands and arms. I've never shot myself, but a friend shot and it hit right between two toes. Great pair of boots too.

    1. It has come in handy with boards I'm installing. Took me a lot of nerve to try it. Younger brother is always helpful to give lessons, though.

  3. No I haven't, but do remember a teacher, her first day in my school, who stapled her hand to a board poor soul. Thanks so much for your kind support, Dixie

    1. Chrys, it's never too late. I can think of a 100 reasons to own one. It makes building flower boxes so much faster!

  5. Never had a nail gun. Shooting them may be fun. I've had a nail go through my shoe a time or two.

  6. I used to work for a company that made them. Many years ago. We had to wear safety glasses and boots when we tried them out.

    1. Yes, I do that when I use mine. If I'm outside I have a shaded part of safety glasses.

  7. We have one, but I've only used it once. My hubs is the power tool guy and he has taught our daughters how to use nail guns and other gadgets, but I generally don't. I always think I should learn, but then I am the person most likely to shoot myself in the boot. :)

Yes, you can blink and realise that I actually made one of my visitations.

    Happy alphabetting!

  9. My hubby owns a nail gun, but I would never try to use it, as I might shoot my foot!

    1. Mine is not as powerful as most, but you do have to be careful; follow safety protocol.

  14. My husband has two nail guns. They bring a smile to his face every time he uses them. I have had much better success getting him to fix things since he has owned them as he says, "Oh! I could use my nailer!!" :)
