Stripping away the rose colored glasses of denial concerning my reality. Getting in touch with truth. Reaching out to others in empathy concerning their reality and their walk to truth.
It's so true. Sometimes, Like "Alice," I actually stare into the mirror and look at the room behind me. Who lives there, I ask. What are they all about? It always makes me pause, because my life is so subjective for the most part---if you know what I mean. ~~I think I had too much coffee~~
I wonder if I lie down on the floor, would I see my world differently? Or under the bed? Yikes no. I might die of all the hair balls that live under there!
Very wise words Dixie and a wonderful picture.
ReplyDeleteI love the photo, Yvonne!
Deletesuch cute whiskers!
ReplyDeleteTurn him upside down and he's really, really cute. :P
DeleteThat's a good idea for all of us.

DeleteI take my day on Sundays...no posts, no comments. Then I'm ready to go again on Mondays. Have a wonderful day, Dixie!
ReplyDeleteLinda Kay - I was on an adventure which didn't turn out as planned. Now I need a day to get over this one. Haha!
DeleteThank you!
And hope you don't get stuck that way
ReplyDeleteNo more kitten -sitting.
DeleteThat is so true! Sometimes we need to look at the world around us upside down or sideways to see what's going on . . . love that pic!
ReplyDeleteTyrean, you are so right! Upside down, sideways... hey how did you know how my day would turn out?
DeleteCute kitten.

ReplyDeleteHa! Next you babysit the kitten, and I'll stay outside playing with the camera. :))
DeleteThat kitty reminds me of what one of mine would do. :)
ReplyDeleteLucky you! But he is cute.
DeleteI shall lie under our table later and see how my perspective alters.
ReplyDeleteMike, you're always the practical one, with the special angle on life!
DeleteI wonder if I lie down on the floor, would I see my world differently? Or under the bed? Yikes no. I might die of all the hair balls that live under there!
ReplyDeleteIn your situation I'd be tempted to put someone else under that bedside table! :))
DeleteA different "pawspective" or "purrspective", "pawhaps" or "purrhaps"
