Celebrate the Small Things

Thank you to our host, and co-hosts:
Lexa Cain

What am I celebrating?

1 -This turned out great for me. I used lighter colored frames, but you get the picture, right?

2 - This weekend, it's me, a book that I can doze with, and a blankie...

3 - The "Battle of the Bands" blog hop I joined is a lot of fun. February is love music(smile).

Look at that chocolate violin!!

I hope everyone has a fun celebration day. Thank you for hopping over here!
And now ~  the linky vehicle we travel on...

  4. I like the idea of the frames following the stairs, but I don't like how they are arranged in that photo. I'm sure you did a much better job in the house!

    1. I also hung less photos - arranged them on the living room floor first. It's like a mini-gallery.

  5. Now me I like the chocolate guitar. You can keep the book and blankie, I will just sit quietly in a corner with my guitar.

  6. Dixie, I'm with Jo on the chocolate guitar. We don't have a stairwell, but we do have a long hallway with pictures on both sides. One side is collected art work, the other of framed photos hubby has taken.

  11. I love that stairwell wall of photos. I would love to be able to do something like that, but alas, I doubt it will ever happen.
Anyway, snuggling up with a book under a blanket is like heaven. Hope you got some kitty purrs to go along with it! I just finished up The Mime Order today so I will be going through my library (yeah, the one in my dreams) and pull out another book. :)

Thank you for visiting my website. I hope you saw my Celebrate the small things posts instead of the one you commented on. Maybe you meant to comment on that one. :P Thank you for stopping by and letting me know you were there.

    1. Hi Jaime! I did go back about an hour ago. I usually make two rounds just in case I miss someone. I'll have another look... I never know what I might miss! Thank you(smile).

  12. Mmm, yum-yum a chocolate violin! Like I need that? I don't think so, but it sure is tempting. This looks like a fun meme. I will have to consider looking into as time permits. I have my BOTB post nearly done for Feb. 1st and am looking forward to participating. I celebrate music! ;) Have an awesome weekend!

    1. Hi Lena. I was so late seeing your post and apologize, but I am so glad I visited you! Yours was the very best "Celebrate the Small Things" post I read. I am grateful for your visit as well.

I've got the book and the blanket ready - waiting on the peanut butter cookies to come out of the oven! Have a fun weekend.

  20. I loved everything about this post! I used to have my pictures arranged in a similar fashion in my old apartment years ago. I'm planning on doing the same this weekend as far as the reading-slash-blankie. :) When I'm done though, I'll be working on a review too. :)

Don't forget to save me a piece of that chocolate!! I'm gonna need it after PT. Have a fantastic night! Hugs, Eva

    1. Thank you, Eva! You know my chiro has me eat M&Ms(with p-nuts), for pain. No joke; I can usually have 3-4 and I'm good for several hours. I don't know what it is about chocolate... but who cares??

I wish I could ship everyone a chocolate violin... shoot, a small harmonica would work, right?

Hope you post the review! Hugs to you!

    1. That's funny Tonja. I have one wall that I've been collecting frames I like - no pictures, just the frames. Maybe one day there'll be a theme, and I'll fill them.

      Have a divine weekend!

    1. Hi Carole Anne. Yes we do, and you are so kind to share your life experiences, through verbal and written communication. I am grateful to you.

P.S. I was at your bookstore site, and such amazing drawings with your books! I have never published any of my children's stories, but would love to read some of yours. To me, stories geared toward children are some of the most wonderful of all.

I saw that you'll be in Raleigh... I might get there... maybe. I'll let you know.
