The airport overlook is going to be filled with lots of blanketed people. Yep, nether rain, sleet, snow, whatever - they'll be there. Friday nights are still the best for plane watching. Time change doesn't seem to affect the following mass. I expect the lady with the grill roasting marshmallows will return. She's threatened to bring chocolate and graham crackers - yum - can you say s'mores? (I'm surprised I could spell it.) After last week's sale of 175 roasted marshmallows, can you blame her? It's a living.
Wrap up well if you're experiencing cold weather. If not - get the heck off of my blog! (smile) I'm doing insulated everything and trying to be cheerful when the commode seat is the only thing I haven't wrapped... yet. (I just know there's a way.) I'll entertain suggestions - please keep it clean!
As usual - have a great Thursday. If my fingers don't get frost bitten I'll be back to do "Celebrate the small things" bloghop on Friday. (That could be one of the things to celebrate - surviving fingers.)
Don't forget those commode wrap suggestions. I'm not going to hold it but I'll be waiting. That's a wrap!
Airport? Cold weather? NO!!! Don't go together.
ReplyDeleteI agree with that. For me an airport is associated with sunshine.
DeleteThere will be grills going! Nice and warm... and the blast from the jet engines... no?
DeleteBut Mike - there will be s'mores. Lots of little s'mores.
DeleteWe're currently enjoying an unusual hot wave of up to 22*C during days, but they say the freeze and the snow are coming in the second part of November!
ReplyDelete22*C is 70-71*F here. Nice weather!
DeleteHeck, I live in Florida. Sunny skies. I am sorry you so cold!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!
DeleteBlah. I should proofread. I am sorry you ARE so cold.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay - the cold makes me stutter sometimes,
DeleteIt's pretty chilly in Ontario and I don't need to go near the airport thanks.
ReplyDeleteIt's a thing with me.
DeleteI recently saw a pic where someone put long sweat socks on the toilet seat, pulling them on like each side was a foot. Maybe that'll help. Keep making those s'mores! :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha, Lexa! Just think - I could coordinate colors, hmm? Thank you for remembering my dilemma. Can I ship you some s'mores? After all I'll be at the airport. FedEx has a lot of planes in and out.
DeleteHow much does she charge per marshmallow? I sense a great money making opportunity here
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Halloween weekend was 2 for .50 cents. I never seen so many quarters change hands in all of my life. If you have your own marshmallows, she'll rent you a skewer and spot at her grill for $3.00. It's a racket - want buy stock?
