make sure there's a fairy
My niece requested a painting of yourself, and, oh, make sure there's a fairy!
Click on picture to enlarge... see it all. Thanks.
Hi Lost in Space: Visited your blog and will go read more later while you're away. Glad you liked the painting and visited before your sabbatical. :)))
I really like this painting. I like the water and the color of it in the background and her face looks so real. Drawing faces of people is very challenging and is why I don't paint faces. Great artwork!
Paul, it was amazing to see both parents' features ingrained in that little face. It was seeing my entire family on canvas. Don't know how else to explain it. I really enjoy your artwork!! Take care and thanks again. :))
Cheerful Monk, to each there is given specific talents to use and share. So if you'd like to help me clean up all the photos I have... the line starts here > I admire your perseverance. Thank you for the compliment. :))
Hi Dixie, That's very nice. I like the range of colour particularly in the clouds. It looks like a picture that was a pleasure to paint!

Thanks, Bazza! It's a repost... painted during one of my finest depression eras!
ReplyDeleteIt was loads of fun, but really nice once she stopped changing her mind on fairy clothes color, hair, so on...
I love crazy clouds. Thanks, again!
Love what I take to be the fairy castle and the colours or even colors are just perfect.
ReplyDeleteAh Dixie,
ReplyDeleteI see to two beautiful fairies in that lovely painting! :)
That painting is really good. I love it.
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks Mike, wish the photo was better. There's a wizard's face in the castle... with the cone as his hat. Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteHi Gary. guess this looks familiar to you. Yep, two alright. Hope things are better for you. :)

ReplyDeleteA really beautiful painting. Simple and delicate. The fairy part of your post made me laugh. "Make sure there's a fairy."
ReplyDeleteHave a great day, Dixie!
