a favorite spot




It's that time of the year when I start dreaming... which wave will knock me down? Well it doesn't really matter as I can already taste the salt. Um, lovely salt air in my nostrils, bathing my face, and tangled with my hair. I want to be there. So, please beach fairy, send me a sign. Thanks.

    Dear Dixie,
    Here's hoping that you actually get to visit your "favourite spot". From your description it sounds as if you might actually already be there, if only in the imagination. I hope it comes to pass in full-blown, 3-D reality. You deserve it, after all!

    Wish I knew the beach fairy - I'd put in a good word for you. Place a grain of salt, and a grain of sand, under your pillow. Perhaps, she'll come -or, at least, bring you sweet dreams of being there.:-)

    Thanks, M, the old 'under the pillow' thingy.
    I can close my eyes and hear the roar of the ocean, and be reasonably certain it's not my neighbor mowing his lawn.

    Well I hope you make it yo your favorite spot as soon as you wish.
    I myself have relocated close to beach but haven't visited it yet.A sort of personal goal I have set, only after I meet it.

    So enjoy the beach!
