Are we vain when we brag about good weather? Whether vain or not, we need to be grateful when the weather is nice.
"Just let your smile be your umbrella on a rainy, rainy day?" Might as well as these umbrellas aren't performing.
Good weather is a gift. Enjoy it because you never know when it will be gone with the wind.

Hi Dixie,
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your analogies :-)
How did that song go? 'You're so vain, you probably think this posting's about you....:-)
Sorry, I have know idea what I'm talking about. Now change, there, then!
Have a peaceful weekend.
In kindness, Gary :-)
Whoops, sorry should of read, 'No' change there, then! Doh! :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Gary.
ReplyDeleteI find it funny on Facebook that once an individual posts their city's weather, everyone follows suit.
Serious blowing and raining are the daily features lately! Screams for Spring rise above the status offerings.
On the other hand there are four fingers and a thumb, oops... no, there are pretty skies to be seen.
Thanks, Gary.
Well, Gary, it can be whoops or oops. However 'now' and 'no' did share a bit of confusion for me. Thanks for the clarification! :)
