Hmmm...
As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world - that is the myth of the atomic age - as in being able to remake ourselves.
Once we discover inner peace and like who we are; all the world will become a better place. Thanks Dixie and yes, like Paige states I agree 100%. Peaceful wishes, your way, Gary
I certainly believe that my strength is my inner strength - the innate ability to survive, despite others' actions or words in my past. Perhaps our weakness is not to believe... Thank you for that thought, best wishes xx
I am very grateful for your participation. It's comforting to realize that others have walked the same path; reaching the same conclusion.'You' do not know how much you help my world. Thank you for your experience, strength, and hope:

Dear dc, I suppose it goes all the way back to Confucious (I hope I've spelt that right) who, I think, generally said that we must change ourselves before we change the world. However, this is all very well and good so long as you live in a free, tolerant society. And, I suppose we have to remember that many in the world do not. I would guess then it becomes a priority to change the world, not yourself. Hope that makes sense. Yours with Very Best Wishes, David.
Hi David, I certainly appreciate your participation. In my mind I keep seeing the the young man, years ago, standing in Tinnamen Square, China, holding off a tank. He definitely changed the world, even if it did not fully change his own country. But I think he must have come to some personal conclusion of his own beliefs. "I still believe that the best philosophy is to please yourself first." Sir Paul McCartney
Regardless of what we have been told, we do have the ability to "remake" ourselves every day. It may not be the easiest or the most comfortable thing to do but the long term rewards are immeasurable.
As you remake yourself, just don't loose track of the wonderful person you are. You can't remake that part. :)
Hi Roger. I've been moving in a direction that facilitates the things I desire; ones I hope will enrich my life. I hadn't thought of it as a 'remake' but a 'return' to ideas and projects I love. Yet it is a remake of sorts; thank you.
I am so grateful for your participation and comments.

The world is just our perception such that when we change ourselves, the world also changes.
