Kauffman:
“The supreme act of courage is that of forgiving ourselves; that which I was not, but could have been; that which I would have done but did not do.
Can I find the fortitude to remember in truth, to understand, to submit, to forgive and to be free to move on in time?"
Love the pic. It looks like so much courage.

Hi Dixie,
ReplyDeleteThere is always the option of realising and fulfilling new dreams. Dreams that can become tangible goals.
You will be free to move on in time; for the permission to release yourself from the 'what ifs' and embrace the exciting future that awaits thee; is within your grasp.

ReplyDeleteMy perspective has changed, and I wanted to share; it 'lessens' the load.
Hi Gary,
ReplyDeleteBeautifully said my dear friend!
I agree.
Dear dc,
ReplyDeleteI once wrote in one of my blogs- "if there is forgiveness out there, then the least we can do is to begin to forgive ourselves". I think this is an important thing to do which allows us to move on with our lives, undaunted.
Wishing you health and happiness and peace,
David.
Dear David,
ReplyDeleteI would have thought that forgiving myself be the least thing needed, to faciltate moving on. I was very surprised to see how much damage I had done to myself; nor could I fathom the joyful release of burden within my being.
Your kindness is appreciated. Good weekend to you.
Dixie
I know I'm sounding like a broken record, but I will say this again.
ReplyDeleteAll it takes to forgive yourself is just a moment.
A moment is all it takes to be free.
Broken record? Good, I have broken hearing. Thanks Desperado.
