M is for Mowing ~ Music
Like Winter is for snowing Summer is for mowing. When it's time to cut that grass, Get out there, move your...butt!
I want that bike mower! It looks like the best invention ever. Why has no-one thought of it before? (Not listening to anything right now. It's 5.30am and there's a brilliant crescent moon low in a cloudless sky as the dawn is breaking. Quite beautiful.) CLICK HERE for Bazza’s fabulous Blog ‘To Discover Ice’
(About the battle of the bands and the music video I featured on my blog today, would the song be going against another song or just there for people to view if they wanted to? I would have to ask hubby and brother their permission to use the song like this so I want to get details. Email me Lv2trnscrb@aol.com. I'm sure the won't mind, I just don't want to take the liberty of saying yes since its not my work :)
Hey, Dixie! I love the bicycle mower in your picture, and your cute little poem. I actually remember pushing one of those old hand mowers back in the day! I was very short and very young at the time, and it seemed like an impossible task.
Is this a real contraption or Photoshopped? lol We have an old reel mower that I used often years ago, but it's really, really difficult to cut the lawn if the grass gets a little too tall. I have mixed feeling about cutting the grass. I like being outdoors, but I'm allergic to grass clippings. I do love the look of a fresh mowed yard!
What a cute lawn mower! I actually do like to mow the grass, haven't in years because no grass to mow, but it is good exercise :)

ReplyDeleteI did that too, Linda Kay. Thank goodness I can afford gasoline for a mower!!
DeleteI hate being woken up in the morning to lawnmowers. UGH!
ReplyDeleteThat's the story every weekend here!
DeleteThat's an awesome bicycle mower! I love it. :) I need one of them.
ReplyDeleteSeems like it would be fun, and think of the exercise we'd get!
DeleteGives riding lawn mower an entirely new meaning!
ReplyDeleteHa-ha, Robin!
DeleteI'll take the mowing, over the snowing, rather have grass growing, my ass is all knowing?
ReplyDeleteYou you've a brain
DeleteWe can't complain
Get your mower
I'll bring my blower.

Now that's a fun way to mow. Cute poem, Dixie. Is the mower for real?

Yes, it's for real and I wish I owned it. Might be able to modify the one I have.
DeleteI wonder if anyone really uses that bike mower. Looks a bit iffy to me.
ReplyDeleteI know not, Jo.
DeleteLove the bike mower and it saves the environment to boot!
ReplyDeleteYes, how about a mower wheel thingy for the back too?!!

ReplyDeleteNot sure about this one but the one I'm working better!!!

ReplyDeleteIt appears real. I should have kept the link to it. I have a bike I'd like to do that with, for the small but long strip mowing look.
