I have a... uh...uh...(achoo!!!), cold

Cold is a four letter word.  You look miserable.
Thanks Teddy - so do you.

My goodness - what a sneeze - you need to see the vet!
Thanks Charlie, I'll do that right away.

I'll let you use the gazebo if you feel better soon.
Simon, it's my gazebo - MY gazebo! Aaaaacchooo!

I'll be back tomorrow, maybe.

  1. Aah, bless you! Hope you are better soon.
I'm just off to the airport to pick up Mrs Bazza from two weeks in LA and Las Vegas with her friend. I hope we still own the house.)

    1. Hi Bazza. I'm still up and thinking of hot cocoa. I just hate to sniffle my way though it. Thank you friend.

    2. you should not drink cocoa while you have a running nose, dear, because milk develops mucus in your body even more... stay away from dairy for a few days

  2. Good think Charlie is outside and can't fetch the cold from you... hope he doesn't fetch poor Simon ....
Grate some ginger mix it with a few tbsp of honey and eat that a couple of times today and you will be good in no time.. especially if you eat a pound of oranges or lemons too :)

  4. Yup definitely hot toddies with lots of citrus and liquor. Even if they don't fix your cold they will make you feel good anyway.

    1. Not you too, Jo! I don't do well with citrus... or liquor, for that matter.

Mmmm, I might even feel warmer.

  5. Hope you feel better soon! Colds are a great reminder that I'm not nearly as tough as I think I am, and while I can endure muscle crushing workouts and blistering cold temperatures, the only thing it takes to mentally break me is a light headache, one awkwardly clogged nostril, and a leaky faucet for a throat.
