Celebrate the Small Things for November 14, 2014

Today I'm celebrating four things:

1) Meeting lots of new bloggers through this bloghop!
2) Posting a poem that had a freeing affect on my heart.
(Titled: "Smiling" - post date 11-12-14)
3) The Blue birds returning for the Fall and Winter seasons.

4) A sweet deal on a roasting pan - $4.99 - from the Goodwill store!
     (Online $189.00)

This post is part of VikLit's blog hop, Celebrate the Small Things. To be part of this blog hop, all you have to do is follow the link and put your name on the Mr.Linky list, and then be sure to post every Friday about something you're grateful  for that week.  It can be about writing or family or school or general life.  This is the funnest and easiest blog hop ever!

    1. I have six adults that are hanging out at my gazebo. They don't seem to mind the chipmunks or the squirrels. They've only been here about five years. Before that I only saw them in Pennsylvania when I'd visit relatives.

    1. Poor cat! This bird isn't the best of the pick. My camera telephoto is stuck. It eats batteries like crazy. I think it's a female because others are prettier. Sitting in the trees with golden orange leaves was the photo I wanted but...
I do love sparrows and doves!! Have a great weekend Dezz.

    1. I bought a 14 pound turkey before I found the pan. The bird would fit twice in it. I can't believe how big it is. Congratulations on owning one! Have a great weekend too!

    1. Goodwill Industries of America - not sure it they're international. Anyone can donate items of clothing, household goods, yard equipment, and lots more. Items are usually used or not used but given away. All tax deductible. Goodwill charges very low prices and uses the proceeds to employ people.
There are about four stores within a 15 mile radius of me. Tuesdays are great because it's senior day with a 25% discount!!
A friend of mine passed away in 2004. I was sad because I would have loved to have owned one of her paintings. Her family donated all of them to Goodwill. Sure enough, about three months later and there sat the painting!! It's hanging in my home and I love it.
Okay so now that you know about the bloghop - you might consider giving it whirl! If not, I'm sure you could visit every Friday - there are some wonderful writers, all levels and genres....
      Thanks Bazza :))
