Happy Nuts-ster?

Just think about it.

Are we done yet?
Have those silly rabbits left?
Can we please have a squirrel day?
Like a ‘Happy Nuts-ster” day?

No, this doesn’t rhyme. It’s not meant to rhyme.
I’m serious though! We could hide nuts.
Lots of children eat nuts.
If they can’t find them, well, we squirrels would help do our part.
We would take care of the environment.
No nuts shall be left behind.

Besides it’s not like leaving a boiled egg for a year.
You might grow a nut tree or a nut bush.
Just think about it.
Meanwhile, Happy Nuts-ster!

  1. Dixie, I think the squirrels have a valid point! Those rabbits have their special day...let those charming little squirrels have a 'Happy Nuts-ster' day.(smile)

I really liked this one! Once again, your sense of humor has filled me with smiles. I thank you for that, too!

Hope you had a wonderful Easter...

    'Til next time,

  2. Hi Mattie,
Then you'd also enjoy the sqirrels' dude ranch day in June: "Bushy Tails on the Trails," or their autumn celebration: "Squirrely is as Squirrely does."
Tickets go on sale in May for both events. LOL. Dixie
P.S. Easter was great as sson as I came out of the bunny suit.

  3. Well I'm all in favour of a 'squirrel day'. However, I have been informed by a reliable source that rabbits and squirrels work as a team. The rabbit offers the squirrels nuts in exchange for tulip bulbs:-)

  4. Klahanie,
Oh, maybe they could also have a "Nuts for Bulbs" day too!? Or simply a subset competition for 'Happy Nuts-ster" day. LOL.
Thank you for the insider tip. Now I know what the squirrels have been tossing off from the power lines they cross daily; explains the missing bulbs in the bed! =)
