V is for Vents and Ventilation
A home needs proper flow of air. It's wise when we take care. Good money is often spent, On the things we call roof vents.
Yeah, if those roof vents aren't proper then you get a lot of leaks! DH had to fix ours a few years back. Cute little poem you came up with to illustrate your alpha prompt for today.
I would hate to see how it would be without those vents!

I would imagine possibly stuffy and if not accumulating dampness, then maybe dry rot. Couldn't be a good thing to avoid needed venting.
DeleteOur roof would bake in the sun and the heat from the attic would heat the whole house. Cost us a fortune in A/C! Should of had a vent!

I've got those large "whirly birds" that spin all the time, or seems to.
DeleteYep, vents are ultra important:)
ReplyDeleteFresh air in and out is good for the house and people too!! You're so right.
Deletedo bats have to pay rents for the vents?
ReplyDeleteDezz, my friend, if you can get them to, have at it!! :)
DeleteBest call an exterminator.
Vents and ventilation are a must.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
It is in my house!! See you soon, Yvonne!
DeleteOne might get bent if they don't have many a vent
ReplyDeleteAnd we know how events can make us vent our frustration?
DeleteWe can't live in a house without ventilation or else we will die of suffocation.
ReplyDeleteHey that rhymed!
DeleteBeen talking about some sort of ventilation on the roof since we moved into this house...
ReplyDeleteA friend uses a fan, sitting inside of one roof end window - pulls hot air out. She says it's all she needs. I wonder :)

ReplyDelete"Alpha prompt" - oh wow! Makes it sound more sophisticated!!!
DeleteNothing we have to worry about I am glad to say.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear, Jo. I hate climbing on the roof.
DeleteWhen we first bought our house, we insulated too well and grew a bit of mold. Had to open some holes back up.
ReplyDeleteOoh, yes, I can understand that would be an issue!! No, no, no.
DeleteI was a mazed that you could write a poem about vents! Hats off. I'm looking forward to X. :-)
DeleteHi Elizabeth, and welcome to "celebrate the small things'!
DeleteAw thank you... you're going to love X....maybe.
We all need a vent! or to vent
ReplyDeleteI agree, Mike!! Good A-Z posts from you all week!!
DeleteI don't have any roof vents, but lots of windows to open and let in air.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder to clean out my air vents. It's not good to breathe in extra dirt and dust.
