Our 'ghost writer' Bart, quit today. We're sad to see him go, but he has a big weekend gig. He's stressed. His parting words, "You A to Z-ers" get Sunday off, but I've got to bust a move around the world. People are counting on me to write cutesy, serious, and happy cards. And then, there's all that candy and stuff! It never ends!"
Bart gave us this very pretty card. It's in the old German style. We think it could be used for Easter or Passover. Isn't it sweet? [Thank you Bart - don't forget my malted 'Robin Eggs.']
Hope you've had a pleasant weekend! See you on Monday for the letter, E.
So sorry the ghost writer quit, maybe he'll be back next Tuesday as he'll be unemployed for another year? Happy Easter1

We can only hope, Betty. After all, there's Hallmark and HallBart!!
DeleteHappy Easter!
It's a break from the AtoZ, but not from the holiday festivities shared with small children. I might need another break after the break!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!

I understand. The godchildren will be here today. I'm up too early. Maybe I'll catch a power nap!
DeleteI've added you to my reading list.
Not much of a break given the amount of catching up I have to do in almost every area of my life… Bt nice not to have to think about something to blog about as well!
ReplyDeleteI can always think of something to post, even if it's all wrong! LOL
DeleteWhat a clown you are, Dixie! Made my day.....still laughing.
ReplyDeleteI do like to joke, Sharon!! Just wondered if the bear or the rabbit would pull it off today!!
DeleteGreart to read Dixie. Have a lovey day.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
Thank you, Yvonne - hope you have fun with your son!
Deletepoor Bart....
ReplyDeleteYes, I know, and he loves your Hollywood Spy home! It inspires him to write those 'needed lovey-dovey cards!!
DeleteI'm sure you can sway that ghost writer back come Tuesday
ReplyDeleteWill try to entice him
DeleteLots of paper at our bin
He's a funny bunny
Might require more money!
Popping over from Tyrean's A-Z feature. Loving your A-Z poems. I'll be back for more!
ReplyDeleteWelcome, Nick! I've read about your book, A Change of Mind, on a couple of blogs recently. Sounds interesting.
DeleteDon't you just adore Tyrean?! Both of you are so busy. I'm grateful you stopped by. I did notice you have one blog with the A-Z challenge on it; I'll visit today. The other two blogs I had a look at... wow!
Best wishes in April (smile).
I had a clockwork bunny given to me yesterday along with a bottle of Champers so I had a good Easter. Got a Lindt Gold Bunny today. Hope you are enjoying Easter and Bart returns in time.
ReplyDeleteOh, Jo, a clockwork bunny? I hope you get a chance to post a photo - would love to see it. Yes, all of the God-children were here, and we had so much fun! They grilled shrimp, and we had huge salads!
DeleteBart will return - he and Teddy do Mother's Day for here! HallBart cards and Co.
You did a fabulous job on week one of A2Z! I appreciate your encouragement and kind words every visit. Mmmm, I love malted Robin eggs, but I stayed away from them this Easter because I just can't one!
ReplyDeleteWell, thank you, and I tried to get by and see you. This minion work is crazy. I so appreciate your input here (smile). You've had some great posts, Cathy.
DeleteFunny - one of the 'God-children brought me a bag of Robin Eggs. I poured some into a bowl and put the other away. I can't remember where I hid them - from me!!
