sigh

There's a tree in the forest that a-lights on it's own ~
you can visit at sundown and watch them come on.

There is no music playing but the wind makes a sigh ~
and the sound from the branches - a sweet lullaby.

  1. This is soft and beautiful!

Reminds me of our pine tree in the backyard that hubby wanted to cut down, but after I spent the weekend crying about it, he decided it'd be better to stay *grin*
He asked what it was about the tree that mattered so much, and I asked him to be silent, and just listen to it whistle in the breeze, telling stories only open minds can hear... and in your words 'the sigh'......

  2. I love this. It sets the tone for season. I wish people remembered to take time to breath and appreciate all that's around them.
