Mural time

These colors are so bright and lively. My neighbor will be painting her bedroom this turquoise color. I'll come in and do the tree. Together we'll make the long drapes. The hard part has been locating the fabric for the ottomans. I think a zebra print would be fine; she's not 100% on that. Time will tell. Either way, I start the tree next week,

For me, this is almost a hobby. Do any of you take on projects like this?

    1. We think the birds are parrots. They're very hard to see in this photo. I'll be doing research, online, for true detail. Okay, Fran.

    1. Alex, as long as she finds the blue color she wants... everything else will fall in line.

  3. I once wanted a similar colour in my chambers but it turned out to be a slightly different and deeply depressive shade... had to live with it for years.... you have to mix the shade very carefully :) Love the tree!

    1. I'll have to find the photo of the white walls with chocolate brown tree, and lavender-pink leaves. It was something to be happy with. I even made the leaves pile up at the floor... like they were waiting to be raked.

    1. Lina Kay - you're right. This is a charming look. I just finished the second phase of an ocean with ships, in my dining room. Couple of more days and it will be done.

  6. That interior design is stunning. I'd never be able to pull off something like that. Good luck, and have a great weekend! :)

    1. It is, Lexa, I agree. The best part - she already has the chair! If we can't find the curtain material, in a pattern she likes, I'll try a 'tie -dye' technique.

Thanks, Lexa - hope your weekend is happy.

    1. I think it's very pretty, Jo. The birds are the hard part because her photo is so small; hard to see details.
