Painting the plaque

In my previous post I showed you photos of birds that I am painting. See HERE.

I'm not painting on canvas this time. The birds are arranged on a plaque, molded in resin. Here's an example of a resin plaque with a simple design.

I hope you can better visualize what I'm doing. Thank you for being so patient, and interested!!!

The #3 flowerbed is out there waiting patiently too. (Halfway home, smile.)

  7. I like the way the pair of birds in that picture look like a real 'couple' - mates for life!
Looking forward to seeing your finished work...

    1. I lot of dry brush, Linda Kay, helps blend the white, yellow and blue in places.

    1. I went to the flower zoo at 7 a.m. and played for an hour. Back inside to play with the paints. I'm hoping to paint outside tomorrow under the umbrella... sunlight helps me place natural shadows on the birds.
