What am I celebrating?
1 - Having my first try with the A-Z Challenge.
2 - Being a Minion!!!
3 - Finding complete set of red wicker furniture (couch, two chairs, table), on the side of the road. It's in great shape and will look nice in the yard!!
Everyone have a great celebration day. Hop forth and celebrate!
Oh pooh. I forgot to add a celebrate post!!
ReplyDeleteGood thing for toilets. I've stayed places with outhouses and they're no fun.
Hi Elizabeth. I got the celebrate posted in, almost sideways, ha!
DeleteThis is one super duper throne :)
Interesting subject Dixie, but comes in very handy especially in the middle of the night.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day.
Ha! Yvonne. Enjoy the weekend,
DeleteWhat a wonderful find! And a complete set at that. Haven't seen red wicker but I bet it's nice. Enjoy
ReplyDeleteIt is nice - looks like it was originally white paint, then green, then red.
Deletelove that grassy toilet seat cover!
ReplyDeleteThat's serious business huh?!
DeleteYour commode provides the only missing part of the whole technology arrangements. Some things never change! Red wicker? Interesting. Have a great weekend, Dixie.
ReplyDeleteIt almost looks like a dentist chair.
Deletelol no where to go when you need to go or when you don't. Although your arse may fall asleep and you could fall in the deep
ReplyDeleteLike maybe they need a recliner element?
DeleteThat's what my husband needs. We both work from home and I constantly hear my husband go into the bathroom while on business calls!
ReplyDeleteStephanie, I keep thinking that for the right person, this commode would work. Have a great Easter/Passover.
DeleteVisiting from A/Z. Cute C. I have to admit when the kids were younger, I would sneak into the bathroom for a few minutes to myself with a book :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful things you are celebrating! Congrats that you took on the A/Z Challenge!!

Hey Betty, ah, yes the reading room! I had a great time visiting your blog! I love benches. See you tomorrow.
DeleteYou could get a lot done on that commode! HAHA!
ReplyDeleteHa! I would hope so, Chrys!
DeleteI get a big chunk of my reading done in the bathroom….
ReplyDeleteEspecially a nice tubby bath. I have this sliding tray to hold books and a cup of coffee or tea!
DeleteHappy Easter weekend to you Dixie...
ReplyDeleteThat contraption looks scary!!
Cheers!
Linda :o)
I think it beats the dentist chair, Linda Kay! A very Happy Easter to you (smile).
DeleteAhem.....not Linda Kay....but, that's ok.....
DeleteHappy Easter Dixie.....
Oops, Linda - can you tell I'm off base?? LOL
DeleteI hope you got to play Easter Bunny at your home! (smile)
Oh I did!
DeleteThat's the most awesome "commode" I've ever seen! Congrats on being a Minion for the A-Z Challenge! Yay for the FREE lawn furniture! You can't beat that. Have a great weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, Lexa, there was a commode covered in rhinestones, but this one said more!
DeleteThank you for doing this boghop! Have a lovely weekend; good weather here, so far.
I stayed with friends who had an outside toilet, but no building. It was midwinter so we had to put coats on. They did put a seat above the toilet which was something.
ReplyDeleteJo - no building? Brr.
DeleteHa-ha....now there's a story we all relate to. Great thoughts in our own private retreat!
ReplyDeleteSharon, I wonder if we could actually order one of these. If you go flying, be careful and have fun this weekend. (smile)
DeleteI like your theme... wow that photo has a bit of everything:) And great things to celebrate... this is my first year giving the challenge a go:)
ReplyDeleteThanks Tania. No kitchen sink, but hey... who's complaining, right?
DeleteMy first A-Z too. I'm running late today but I'll get by to see you. (smile).
The bathroom can be a good get-away spot for some, especially moms. That is, if the small ones don't follow. That was a problem I ran into once upon a time. lol Good reasons to celebrate! I celebrate getting continued good reports for all of my annual check ups so far. There's nothing like getting a clean bill of health! Enjoy your minion reign in the challenge. I salute you!
ReplyDeleteCathy, right now I'm still dragging from the mulch spreading. had more today, so I'm running late. My Mom gave up trying to get away from all us kids.
DeleteHappy Easter, Cathy. (smile).
Good luck doing the challenge, and being a minion.
ReplyDeleteThank you, M.R.R., I loved both "D" days on your blogs!!
DeleteNow that's one convenient commode! Congrats on being a minion, Dixie! Cute poem! Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteJulie
Hi Julie! Isn't it? I figure more men might be drawn to it...
DeleteThank you and Happy Easter. (smile).
I love gifts from the corner - I just found a perfect night table I love. It's solid wood and I needed it. Congratz on your find :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Angela, congratulations on the night table!!
DeleteI see. Poetry, A to Z, and Celebration. YAY! You've got it all covered! LOL Good job!
