Enjoy the day - cooking is on - making memories!

Busy in the dcrelief  kitchen this morning. Apple pie - macaroni & cheese casserole - pineapple pie.  Let's make some memories out there - ones you'll want to keep!

  1. Enjoy the day Dixie! There is the smell of turkey wafting up the stairs from the oven - making me feel hungry, although I would love a macaroni and cheese casserole!

  3. I can't imagine making making or eating macaroni and cheese on Christmas Day. However, hope everyone enjoys it and that you are having a good day.

    1. Hi Jo. It's a dish my Grandmother always made. She gave me the recipe to carry on the tradition. She used spaghetti, so technically I think it should be called spaghetti-cheese casserole. Either way, there were six guys who gobbled it all up. They can't imagine any family gathering without it(smile).

I'm very tired but it was so worth it, seeing all the kids - grown up now.
