Where I belong

Many times I've walked this site ~
with thoughts of nothing but delight.

Sheer joy with every step I take ~
never hurried, never late.

All round the world seems cold ~
but I come here to cheer my soul.

Loving hands will keep me strong ~
and I will dwell where I belong.

  5. Aw, Fran, it is indeed lovely. I've posted a couple of my own photos before, but this one I borrowed from another. It seems he caught the right day for all of that gorgeous colour!

Meanwhile, come over and I'll take you there!

  7. Hi Mike. You're the one with the gift of photography, and I love seeing what you share from trips you take.

My best you and your wife. That recent storm there sounded scary. Hope that didn't touch you.

  8. Hi Loki. Down the path is a circle of old oak trees. The story goes that a coven of witches were meeting there when lightening struck. There's only one center tree that survived. And wow, it gives me the creeps every time I go there.
It's one serious path on 137 acres!
