In my yard

Today I sat and watched the leaves. Just like this picture with it's movement.
It was so nice. It was so quiet. I love days like this.

  4. Hi Julie. The day was gorgeous. Big blue sky with all the colorful leaves. They danced on the wind.

    Thank you!

  5. I slipped in some leaves and nearly twisted my crackers but that's another story!

  6. Oh gee, Fran, sounds awful... but maybe... you'd consent to a dcrelief interview. Never heard of anyone "twisting their crackers." Is that a wargamer term?(smile)

Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment!

  7. Hi Dixie. I just love the autumn. You don't get those colours that are in the leaves anywhere else or at any other time! Epping Forest near here is turning gold, russet, terracotta and blue-green - it's fabulous!

  8. LOVE, love, love the sparkly, moving picture. Only wish I could be young & beautiful like that fairy.

(Oh, grow up! Be proud of your OLD age.)

  9. Hi Bazz. I'll have to take a google-trip to Epping Forest! Maybe you'd consider doing a watercolour and display it on your blog! Would love to see your interpretation of the beauty.
    Thank you for visiting!! Enjoy.

  10. Hi bikehikebabe. Found this picture many years back... don't even remember from where. She never seems to age!
As I get older I seem to appreciate, even more, the gifts that are free - like a beautiful Autumn day.

I'm so glad you liked it. Hope your days are filled with beauty!

  11. Yep Dixie. You're soooo right. The list of what I have to be grateful for would be endless. And beauty is everywhere. I appreciate everything more now, with age.
