Living through Christmas ~ time

A friend shared a video titled, "Where's the line to see Jesus?" It's about a child at a shopping mall who sees all the children in line to see Santa Claus. The youngster has brought a gift, but there's no one there to accept it. He goes from adult to adult with the same question: "Where's the line to see Jesus?"

Experts claim the real birthday is September 11, 3BC; also known at that year as "The Feast of Trumpets." Ever since that time only tragic events have taken place on that date. Hmm?

  2. Hi Dixie,
A nice little story from you, and also, as Gary says above, something to ponder.
I hope you have a wonderful and merry Christmas, Dixie, and all your efforts to help others (which you spoke of in a comment on my own blog) are rewarding.
    Very Best Yuletide Wishes,
    From your blogging pal,
    David.

  3. I've read of that and I've read other articles placing his birth and other articles and texts placing his true birth at other times. Being open-minded, I will check out your links.

My sister, about 8 Christmases ago, gave me a book about the connection between the bible and historical events. I've had faith most of my life. Sometimes, it is lacking during times of deep depression but it remains. I'm just glad that Jesus was born and was able to provide people with much needed hope and inspiration. To me, he would be and still is both a hero and an inspiration.

    Merry Christmas, Dixie

  5. Dear David,
All is quite rewarding but a bit physically taxing at times. I think you should win... "Blog of the Year" because you choose to pursue topics that affect all life.

    Merry Christmas, my blogging pal.

  6. Ho Kelly!
I've been enjoying your posts but slack on commenting... oops.

Having faith is very nice... especially when proceeded by love!! Having love is the greatest thing.

The Bible says: "Better is the day of a man's death than the day of his birth."

I agree with your with "much needed hope and inspiration." Of course salvation information comes with his death and resurrection, but that's for another day!!

    Merry Christmas to you, fa-la-la!

  7. Hi Dixie. I don't have confidence in what 'experts' tell me. They have been wrong so many times.
    Thanks for posting this!
    Best wishes, Bazza.

  8. Thank you for the links. Interesting about Jesus birth date, not sure if I agree with Sept 11th but I don't feel it really matters. To me it's His teachings that are important: love, forgiveness and so on.

  9. Bazza, you're welcome. Most experts are too foolish to consider a 'lay-person' might actually know more than them. A curiosity...

  10. Hi Mike.
Is it coincidence that so many negative things have happened on that same date down through history? I just bet if the 'experts' had to research positive events, on that date, the site might be shut down.

Love is the greatest! It facilitates all the rest. Thanks.
