Stripping away the rose colored glasses of denial concerning my reality. Getting in touch with truth. Reaching out to others in empathy concerning their reality and their walk to truth.

Evergreen

Along the trail of snow ~ the sun begins to fade.
The golden rays' last glow ~ are covered by the shade.

Another day is gone ~ and put to rest for now.
Yon Christmas lights and song ~  align on every bough.

As darkness paints the night ~ the evergreen stands tall.
I pray with all my might ~ that beauty touches all.

  1. Very beautiful poem. Serene- and truly speaks of the spirit of Christmas. If I don't say it later, due to being busy with various family factions... Merry Christmas, Dixie!

    HO HO HO!!!

  10. Thank you bazza, (Barry & Leah). The festival of lights began Dec. 25th and so I'm still in tune with meditations or communicating with the Father of Spirits. (The Lord Almighty).
Many happy returns of the days. :)

  14. Hi Paul, I took the path less traveled; it was amazing. Your paintings and photography are most inspiring. Sometimes I re-read your stories several times. Thank you, Merry Christmas, and a joyful new year. :)
