Every other week: Spring

We've had a beautiful spring. So many varieties of flowering trees, shrubs, and individual plants. I've never seen this yard so lovely. Too bad my camera eats every battery it meets! The weather has been titter-tottering for over a month now. It's warm one week, and something blooms. It's cold the next and something dies.

Actually, it's a perfect spring for where I live. This is the spring I remember as a child. Maybe that's why it's so enjoyable, but look quickly or you'll miss the next flowering something.(sigh)

  1. A perfect Spring is my favourite season. The flowers are always so fresh and vibrant.

  2. I enjoy the uncertainty of Spring weather. South-East England has had a six-month draught and now we are not allowed to water our gardens with a hose-pipe, only a watering can!
I was caught in a shower this morning and walked home in blazing sunshine this afternoon.

  3. I love everything about being in nature especially in spring time but it would be much better if I don't have the occasional allergies :)

  4. We have the same seesaw weather here too. As the saying goes, "If you don't like the weather just wait a few minutes. It will change." :)

  6. Bazza, I use recycled bottles with special plastic attachments to water plants. You turn the bottle filled with water upside down and place next to the plants. The water drips into the ground as needed. I don't remember what the name of the little watering caps are called.
Bless your rained on, sun burnt heart!

  7. Me too, Paul; I love the outdoors. Haven't had the allergy issue, but while spreading three truck loads of mulch... I got a small rattling in my chest.

  8. Cheerful Monk, I relate. Then again the changing gives different animals time to takeover my gazebo. I might never get to swing again!!!

  9. Thanks, Gary. My god-daughter and I have worked hard on the top soil. As a result we have all kinds of bulbs and plants appearing. So much variety and gaiety. Enjoy your spring :)
