Timing

Pregnant Male Seahorse: 'any time now'

Timing can be so frustrating. I can wait and wait for something to happen, and it seems to be forever until it comes to pass. Or, suddenly, an event or circumstance is thrust upon me, catching me by surprise. Believing that things happen too slowly or too quickly is an illusion. Timing is perfect.

“If we could untangle the mysteries of life and unravel the energies which run through the world; if we could evaluate correctly the significance of events passing; if we could measure the struggles, dilemmas, and aspirations of mankind, we could find that nothing is born out of time. Everything comes at its appointed moment.” ~Joseph R. Sizoo

  1. My grandmother used to tell me that things may not happen IN time but they always happen ON time. But then again th waiting is the hardest part. ;)

  3. Ah..perfect timing. They say (whoever 'they' are) that a watched pot never boils. (or something like that).
Speaking of time. Time depends on which side of the bathroom door you are on. Now that's timing, as one makes a mad dash to get to the bathroom first:-)

  4. "perfect timing.." well done you! I stopped "watching the pot" as a teen ...as "they" were upset a bit!
Oh Gary, you're not one of "those" people who want to "potty all the time, potty all the time, potty all the time?"
Oops, got to dash off! Very nice Gary: thank you. ;)

  5. Dixie, I love this beautiful picture. The detail is amazing!

As for your words, I can definitely associate my own feelings to them. It seems we wait forever with the hope of something meaningful to happen. Looking, searching...just longing for life to place a beautiful 'gift' within our reach. The irony of life is always ever-present, though, and that 'gift' always catches us unaware!(smile) But it is great when it happens! All things do happen in their own time...

I enjoyed my visit today. This was great work!

    Blessings to you,
    Mattie

  6. Hi Mattie,

A human life is like a single letter of the alphabet.
    It can be meaningless,
or it can be a part
    of a great meaning.

Thank you for being a part of my life. Dixie
