I would hate to see how it would be without those vents!betty
I would imagine possibly stuffy and if not accumulating dampness, then maybe dry rot. Couldn't be a good thing to avoid needed venting.
Our roof would bake in the sun and the heat from the attic would heat the whole house. Cost us a fortune in A/C! Should of had a vent! You can find me here:ClarabelleRant
I've got those large "whirly birds" that spin all the time, or seems to.
Yep, vents are ultra important:)
Fresh air in and out is good for the house and people too!! You're so right.
do bats have to pay rents for the vents?
Dezz, my friend, if you can get them to, have at it!! :)Best call an exterminator.
Vents and ventilation are a must.Yvonne.
It is in my house!! See you soon, Yvonne!
One might get bent if they don't have many a vent
And we know how events can make us vent our frustration?
We can't live in a house without ventilation or else we will die of suffocation.
Hey that rhymed!
Been talking about some sort of ventilation on the roof since we moved into this house...
A friend uses a fan, sitting inside of one roof end window - pulls hot air out. She says it's all she needs. I wonder :)
Yeah, if those roof vents aren't proper then you get a lot of leaks! DH had to fix ours a few years back. Cute little poem you came up with to illustrate your alpha prompt for today.
"Alpha prompt" - oh wow! Makes it sound more sophisticated!!!
Nothing we have to worry about I am glad to say.
Good to hear, Jo. I hate climbing on the roof.
When we first bought our house, we insulated too well and grew a bit of mold. Had to open some holes back up.
Ooh, yes, I can understand that would be an issue!! No, no, no.
I was a mazed that you could write a poem about vents! Hats off. I'm looking forward to X. :-)
Hi Elizabeth, and welcome to "celebrate the small things'!Aw thank you... you're going to love X....maybe.
We all need a vent! or to vent
I agree, Mike!! Good A-Z posts from you all week!!
I don't have any roof vents, but lots of windows to open and let in air.
Thanks for the reminder to clean out my air vents. It's not good to breathe in extra dirt and dust.Julie
Thank you for visiting me. Want to add your thoughts?
